By way of further explanation. . .

The name "Crossroads" has two meanings. The first is descriptive of the place in life that many of us find ourselves in from time-to-time. For the unbeliever, it is that place where Jesus Christ has the opportunity to take us to new life, or where we can choose to continue to go our own way.

"Crossroads" also has connections to our hometown of Las Cruces, NM. There is some controversy as to the use of crosses in our city's logo -- some citizens advocate a more trans-literated interpretation of the "Cruces" name, meaning "Crossings" or "Crossroads," leaving religion and crosses out of it altogether. We prefer to consider "Crossroads" to be those roads that lead to the cross -- not that there are many ways to salvation, but that there are many different roads (circumstances) that lead people to Jesus.
